The Product
The Vijaysar tumbler is carved from the heartwood of Pterocarpus marsupium — the tree Ayurveda calls Vijaysar and has used for centuries in the care of blood-sugar wellness. Water poured into the tumbler and left overnight draws colour and compounds from the wood, ready to drink the next morning.
Each tumbler is turned and hollowed by hand from solid Vijaysar, then left unfinished on the inside so nothing stands between the water and the wood. With regular use the heartwood gradually gives less colour — a natural sign it is time to replace the piece.
